Details of weaving

Above is the section of cloth worked with my handspun jacob wool as weft on a warp of Rowan Felted Tweed DK yarn, and below is the section worked with the Felted Tween yarn in both warp and weft.

Wow, clever girl. That's fantastic for a first attempt.
Many years ago I almost bought a spinning wheel. Not now, but I do fancy the weaving. I loved weaving with the knitting machine, not the same as proper weaving, but nice results. The top photo is brilliant on the diagonal.

Yayyy! I spin too - it is so therapeutic and I get such a lot of joy out of it. What spinning wheel do you have? I have two, but I am going to sell one as it is too big for my teeny flat. The one I shall sell is the Timbertops Leicester and the other one is the Ashford Joy which is perfectly suitable for my small amount of spinning.

What are you going to spin next?
