Warm Memories
There is so much warmth in these pictures! The leaves at Westonburt really were this fiery in the autumn. On a chilly, grey day in March, it does me good to see these images.
Just want to curl up and hibernate at the moment - it's not actually terribly cold today but I feel in need of warmth and sleep (didn't awaken til 11.30 this am). Oh well, luckily I don't have to do a lot at present.

What a beautiful collage of leaves Sue. Those colours are very inspiring.
Lovely, Sue. I love the way you've put them together. I know what you mean about the weather. I went shopping this morning, got back this morning at 10 am, was so cold I got into bed as the sun was shining into the room and the next thing I knew it was 11!
I am warm enough indoors, but freezing when I go out - brrrr!
I have just been looking over your last few posts, the felting looks lovely you have an eye for colour that's for sure. I also adore the subtlety of the colours in the brickwork in Crete, yum and then this image, so firey and cheery - beautiful!
We used to live in Oxfordshire and would visit Westonbirt regularly. It was much quieter 20 or so years ago, but even so the trees are magical.
Thanks for warming up my heart (even if my hands are frozen)!

Oh, that does bring back memeories - I lived near Westonbirt for five years and we went there every autumn for the leaves. I have just started a textile art course and find myself looking at everything in a different way and your photos are lovely! I also have chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia (we don't use ME in Australia) so can sympathise - take care.
Sue, your pictures are just lovely! When I see Westonbirt like that, I wonder why we don't go every day...but like all of these places on our doorstep, we need a visitor to give us a reason to go there. Silly isn't it?!
Hope you soon bounce back.
